Didn't think we needed to replace the Front Brake Pads yet, but since we were going to be in one place for about Six Weeks decided to get them changed.
Called 4 RV Repair shops in the area. One had enough space for 40 Rigs.First place said $1,000.00, (A Grand). AND THAT WAS IF THEY DIDN'T FIND ANYTHING ELSE.
Second place was the same. Third was down to $800.00.
The Fourth was the turning point. Guy said $600.00 to $800.00 but the Minnie Winnie would be there 3 to 4 days.
Said OK. Told him we lived in it and asked Him if We could stay in His Parking Lot until the job was complete.
The Guy said the Minnie Winnie would be on a Lift for 3 to 4 days.
Told him if he didn't want the job why didn't he just say so.Went to RockAuto.com. Bought the Ford recommend MotorCraft Brake Pads. Got the Ceramic Lined Pads.
They kind that is used by delivery trucks. Heavy Stop & Go. $72.00 Delivered.
