Total Eclipse of the Sun as viewed from Boardman, Oregon

At first we didn't have "SOLAR ECLIPSE VIEWER GLASSES" to capture the Total Solar Eclipse over North America on August 21, 2017. So we setup a "Pinhole" camera to safely view the Eclipse. First heard of a "Pinhole" camera to safely view the eclipse on the Mr. Wizard Show, (Don Herbert), back in the late 1950s.

Not too long after we started watching the eclipse using the "Pinhole" camera a neighbor came by and gave us a pair of "SOLAR ECLIPSE VIEWER GLASSES". They look like the 3-D cardboard viewing glasses they give away at 3-D movies only with dark dark dark lens. And not too long after that another came by with a second set of "SOLAR ECLIPSE VIEWER GLASSES".

Put one pair of the glasses over the lens of our camera and started taking pictures and videos with the Sony HandyCam.

Note: The next Total Solar Eclipse over North America will be here in 7 years but it will only be seen over the East Coast. The next eclipse that will be seen across the entire country is 726 years away.
