Quartzsite is there because of Tyson's Well & Stage Coach Station built in 1866-67.

Tyson dug a 40 foot deep well, built a Stage Coach Station and Inn.

Today Quartzsite is known as "The Rock Capital".

Rocks from all over the world.

Each winter more than a Quarter Million people visit Quartzsite.
